Drinking plenty of water is good when you have a sore throat.
The technique of gargling with warm and salty water (please children shouldn't try this).
Eating cooler foods
Sucking Ice cubes, ice lollies, or some hard sweet but remember do not give children anything small and hard to suck because of the risk of choking!
Sore throats are very common and normally nothing to worry about. They usually get better within a week or two themselves.
